NYE Chicago!

As I mentioned, we had friends come visit us for the New Years weekend, and it was amazing!!! Not only was New Years Eve fun, with food and drinks, but the rest of the weekend was also great! On Sunday, we had a delicious brunch and a relaxing afternoon of coffee drinking and playing games. Late in the afternoon, we made our way to the IMAX theater on Navy Pier to see the new Mission Impossible movie. It was so intense!

After the movie, we came home and prepared dinner together. We had creamy leek and potato soup as well as grilled chicken caesar salads! Both were delicious and the perfect comfort food on a snowy January night!

We spent the rest of the evening chit chatting and playing a few games, including Just Dance on the Wii. It was legendary.
